Deuteronomy 32:8–9
The Division of the Nations

When the Most High divided the nations, 
when He separated the sons of Adam, 
He fixed the boundaries of the peoples
according to the number of the sons of God. 
But Yahweh’s portion is His people,
Jacob His allotted inheritance.”

Nimrod, influences by satanic forces, was determined to build a tower heaven as a rebellious challenge against God. In the spiritual background, according to the book of Deuteronomy, certain watcher angels, who had been assigned to watch over and to assist mankind, instead, corrupted humanity.

Their actions angered God, and they were cursed and ejected from the divine council, and heaven itself. They kept their assignments over individual nations, given to them while they were princes, and sons of God.  This is a continuation of that story.
